Update on Blood Club Clinical Community
Our new Clinical Community, Blood Club, now has more than 500 members sharing interests and passions within haematology.
Exclusive conference reports by Oyster staff writers are available for download from the site. Full conference reports from the 16th Congress of the European Haematology Association (EHA), and the Annual Scientific Meeting of the British Society for Haematology (BSH) are available, plus an abstract review from 11th International Conference on Malignant Lymphoma (ICML).
In January 2012, a full report from the BOPA/UKONS Annual Conference and an extensive abstract review from the American Society of Haematology (ASH), will also be available for download. To coincide with the BOPA/UKONS report, we will also be adding a podcast interview with Matthew Small, Lead Oncology and Haematology Pharmacist and Blood Club Clinical Editor.
The other Blood Club Clinical Editors are Karen Bennett, Macmillan Haematology CNS and Pavel Kotoucek, Consultant Haematologist. Pavel said: “We need tools to help cope with the huge amount of new information at our fingertips, and to bring this in to our daily haematology practice. BloodClub is one of these tools.”
