Focus groups

A focus group for Bio Products Laboratory with immunologists and nurse specialists helped identify key priorities for medical education. A virtual reader focus group steered the development of the clinical communities website.

Education needs assessments

Our readership database allows us to access educational need by therapy area. A module on Managing Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Pregnancy, sponsored by Procter and Gamble, followed a survey on educational need with IBDigest readers.

Patients
NACC - New patient packs/ surgery consent packs

We surveyed NACC members before developing their new patient packs and surgery consent packs. The packs provide the information people want at the point of diagnosis or when facing life-changing surgery.

PIA diagnosis survey

Almost 25% of the PIA's 1900 members completed a survey detailing their route to diagnosis with a primary immunodeficiency. The responses will help guide the development of guidelines for faster diagnosis and provide media case studies.
